I See the Light!
For as long as I remember, I've always begged my mom to put up Christmas lights on the outside of our house. My mom, however, always thought it looked tacky and just put up those window candles (which we still have). This time though, she surprised me and my brother by putting up lights before we came home. Then last night, we look outside and what do we see? LIGHTS! It's not a lot of lights, but this is the first time ever we've had lights, so I was like a little kid...really excited!

Aww, glad you got your lights! I remember last year my roommates wouldn't let me put up colored Christmas lights inside because they thought they were tacky. That made me mad. I don't care if they're tacky, I like them!! Besides, in Venezuela there are tacky lights everywhere and it's just wonderful. ftr, the lights on the bushes look classy tho, not tacky :)
ReplyDeleteHaha. Thanks, my mom would appreciate that compliment. lol I am not a huge fan of colored lights (I like white better..reminds me of snow), but I still like them. HEY...I'll take ANY lights over NONE any day. They just make me happy!!
